Rear Fog not working.

Possible one of the wires have broken where they hinge at the tailgate opening?

Regards

Dave

Test for voltage with a multimeter at any plugs where you can separate the loom. Trace it back from the lights on the tailgate. Check the lamps and that they are fitted correctly with no corrosion.

Have they ever worked ?
the other thing have you got a towbar/wiring, if so you might have a fog cut
out switch built into the 7 pin socket and these are prone to failing.
The best way is to fit a electronic switch
Hi, I have discovered I have the same problem on a Colorado. I've found the bypass plugs just behind the light cluster. when I follow the blue wire to the towing socket it is in the correct place according to the socket wiring diagram but there is no sign of any switch, it just looks to me like a standard towing socket.
The grey wire that returns to the fog light is connected to the earth position on the towing socket. The fog light itself is fine because it works when I touch the blue and grey wires together.
I guess the simplest thing is to forget about towing and just have the fog light wired normally ?

If the wires shorted, would it blow the fog light switch?
