Its a great sound when the 20v 1.8 golf is revving at that rate! Good value budget car for 400 quid.. infact one of the most reliable motors for the money

A lad I know is a Golf fan, he's always picking up bangers and doing a complete rebuild, usually street rod style, 1/2" off the asphalt.

Always winning ing prizes at exhibitions and stuff. His last project was a Vr6, scared me to death in it

A mate had one years ago and the standard number plate was 666MAN , the only car he ever crashed and he was very lucky to survive , the car went to the scrappy but he bought the number plate and for at least 20 years hasn't used it . Just a few months ago i suggested he sell it and he says he wouldn't dare in case something happened to the buyer superstitious bugger .
