Registering my fj40

Need help with registering a toyota landcruiser fj40 1969. I've just bought the f40.all I know apparently. It's was imported around 2012,13 .from colorado us. But never registered just parked up. So needs rebuild..there's no number plate on it..I have a receipt for my perched. Found a very worn shipping title (I think it is) a photo copy of some sort shipping bill also..there's vin tag with number..and manufacturer date 1969..I haven't contacted dvla yet...done a little homework. need a proof of year and manufacturer. Any advice on this please. Many thanks dean

I seem to remember that some time back there was a thread about registering a 40 series. I suggest that you use the search facility to explore the 40 forum section on here to find it.

You will need proof of the year of manufacture and, if memory serves, that thread said where to get such a document.
