Hi all
Must share my experience on a BP Diesel Ultra (before this new Ultimate
one)... On my ex HDJ80 (with a 140L fuel tank) after made 3 full tanks my
hdj80 started to die in acceleration. The situation evolved in such way that
I could get the engine rev more then 2000rpm and/or get more then 40km/h in
straight.
Result after thrying to find the problem:
The pre filter inside the fuel thank (a kind of very thin net) was very
dirth wit ha kind of mud. As the machnic said, that could be "old dirt
stuff" glued on the walls of fuel thank on past of years... And with the new
diesel cleaning detergent proprieties could get them off...
