Two men and two sons walk into a forrest for an afternoon hike. They get lost and walk for hours. They are starving. They find an apple tree with three apples. They each got a whole apple to themselves. How did they manage that?

A guy lives on the 15th floor of a block of flats. Every morning he gets into the lift and presses 'G' and then gets out at the ground floor and goes to work.

When he comes home in the evening he presses the button for the 11th floor then walks up the stairs for four floors to his flat.

Unless it's raining, when he gets out on the 15th floor.

Why?

Depends which entrance he uses the final 4 floors do not have a lift so he walks down 4 floors and gets lift to the ground floor exiting the front of the building but he returns home at the rear of the building which is on a different street level and can go up 15 floors before he has to exit and walk the last 4 floors to his flat ?
