Remove the whole window unit and rubber as one. Then there are tiny screws top and bottom that hold the centre brace/piece on. Once undone the centre brace/piece comes out and the glass will then slip out.
The trim pieces along the bottom and rear edges of the sliding units are held in with clips and just prise off. The clips are likely to break being old and brittle so might be a good move to source some replacements. Warming the trims with a hairdryer can help removal and prevent breakages.
When you say the window slider what is that mate.Cheers I know the outer of the rubber can be peeled back from over the metal frame where glass is, and there is a rubber piece you can pull out that goes right out the window. Don't know what to do ?
