I have Land Cruiser GXR 2001 Petrol Engine 6 Cylinders.
When I step on the Accelerator Pedal normally the Gear Changes as:

Option 1:-
( after speed 20-25 change to 2nd )
( 40-45 changes to 3rd )
( 70-75 changes to 4th Gear )

BUT when I need more power I step on the accelerator hard and it goes like:

Option 2:-
( after speed 40-45 change to 2nd )
( 60-70 changes to 3rd )
( 80-90 changes to 4th Gear )

So will it cause any damage to the Gearbox if driving as Option 2

Is this with the gear selector set in "D" for both options? If in D, you're unlikely to cause any gearbox problems as you accelerate for relatively short periods of time.

As with all auto-boxes, overheating is the killer so just make sure you avoid getting the gearbox too hot. Occasional hard acceleration is unlikely to make the gearbox overheat.

Cheers,

Thanks Andrew Prince bro for the info,
Yes it is with the gear selector set in "D"
Thanks again ( Cheers )
