i am wanting to check and adjust my tappet/valve clearance and was wondering if the tappets are shimmed or not

Are they adjustable without taking the whole thing apart

you have to measure the gaps then remove the cams to change the shims on any that are out of spec.

It would help people answer questions if you put what model Landcruiser you have in your signature
