Thanks for all the advice chaps - I'll give a running report shortly.
Couldn't see the seals on that link, Julian. I'll phone 'em. My
local Toy dealer tells me they do a seal kit for about =A340 for both
sides. Not bad - but replacement pistons are about =A335 each
apparently - and I might need 4 of 'em. I'll try cleaning them first,
I think!

What's the exact model and year of your LC - it would be handy to have

I had to replace mine. Non-toyota replacements (complete) were just over =A3200 each.

In the old days when I had a Range rover I changed the calliper pistons for
stainless ones from KITEK these cost =A3140.00 for a full set all round and
gave me no more bother no matter how much off roading. Just a thought
