"Summer" refurbishement work on my Colorado

I have driven the LC a bit now i have fitted all the gauges and the kenlowe trans cooler.
coolant temp is generally around 88degC
transmission temps vary a lot as expected.
since cooler fitted the temperature is about 50-60degC when cruising on straight roads at 60mph. on twisty and hilly back roads with lots of gear changes, and speeds about 40mph, the trans temperature rises to 80degC.
before fitting the cooler the temperatures were maybe 10degC higher.

in the deep of winter and when very cold and freezing temperatures I may cover/screen the front of the trans cooler to limit potential over-cooling
