Hope you had a good trip, I dont think there has been a day set yet for the day out cause I have also asked this not so long ago.

Many thanks.
You shouldn't need a special tool - if you gently tap the steering arm
the lower bearing will come off and then you can then lift the knuckle
off. The using a long punch you can tap out the top swivel pin.
Yes, you can do it - just make sure that you slice the seals at the
top.
Also make sure the knuckle is rust free and clean before fitting new
seals - if there is rust or pitting, I usually treat it with something
like KRust - this stops the rust that is there and then the grease
prevents any further rust.
I'm still trying to get the contact details for the pub where I'm
hoping we can meet, but should be able to sort the date out tomorrow.
