Much like myself CG, 11 years ownership and 178 k km.
I intend it to outlive me, so I considered a re-spray as a maintenance investment.
The truck had been abused somewhat when I bought it, it was all shades of "that blue" and some, due to dodgy filled dents and rattle-can cover-up.
The body shop I went to were great, they found all the filler, removed it and pulled out the dents and skimmed them with a very thin layer to get a good profile.
One dent on the passenger side rear pillar was almost 3" deep

, but at least the seller was honest with me, he told me where they all were as well, and how they happened. A flatbed had reversed into the rear pillar and the dent ran all the way down the truck to the front passenger door.
I never thought it would look nice when I bought it, I just wanted a cheap capable 4x4.
I paid £5k for it at 11 years old, with 212 k km on the clock, but it's soaked up at least the same in the 11 years of ownership, including the mods. I'm as pleased as punch with it, the best vehicle I've ever owned.
It still brings the stupid 80 grin to my face when I drive it, and as my DD, that's every day

.
We did 2,000 km in it when my Bro-in-law came to visit us the week before last, and I loved every km of that drive, all through the Maramureş and Suceava mountains, and we were blessed with 40 cm of fresh snow, just to put the icing on the cake
