Am quietly getting l'beast sorted - need to change all the belts again -
have you bought any belts recently? Just a price comparison, that=92s all
I've finally got the radiator fixed, so am mobile again.
I thought I killed the batteries last week; surprisingly, after rather a
tall flame shot up and sizzled the bonnet (it was up) they're still working
- killed the pos terminal on the RHS though....I enquired with toyo - =A315
squids! Its fixed now though.
But I won't be going anywhere really nice [aka the Desert] for a wee while
yet - I have a list of 26 things I want to do...probably take me all the
rest of the year.
I used to read the Toyota Bible too, but sometimes I have to push things a
bit to see what happens...
One more thing, have any of you got a spare manual for the toyo? Not the
engine manual, but any of the other ones? Or can provide a place where I can
buy the volumes?

I know. I just happen to have a handbook which has the official specs,
and I thought it might be useful.
Mine's running on 15w-40 semi-synthetic dinosaurs at the moment, changed
every 5k miles, and it seems happy enough on that. That choice is
driven more by cost and local availability than anything else.
