To buy or not to buy?

Hey! FJ fans, I'm new to the FJ world, and the forum.
I always liked FJ, but have not really owned one before. And today I found there was a local listing for sale at @ 20,000. According to the seller, this is imported from Brazil.
But how can I verify?
Did a test drive, it runs ok. The gauge is not working.
Any thoughts or comments?

I didn't see that you had posted these....

Post the details from the VIN plate (on bulkhead) and we should be able to tell you about this truck as they made 40s in South America for many years.

The hardtop and the one piece rear door are not something I've seen before.

Thanks, Rodger. Yes, the rear door also concerns me quite a lot. I'm worried that might impact the resale value a lot.

Most important is to check for rust. They rust very badly.
Most affected places :
Top of front fenders
Windscreen frame
Door sills
Vertical seam between tub and front

Btw, fuel consumption 7 MPG
