tracking woes

Hi All,
I'm having fun trying to sort the tracking on my '92 Japan-spec HDJ80.
When I got the car it was lifted (about 5 inches) -with the previous owner
having done the job 'properly' by blessing (or cursing?) the car with adjustable
panhard rods and swaybar drop blocks.
When I went back to stock-height suspension the car developed a bit of a
pull to the left - I put this down to the panhard rods being too long -
and so shifting the axles. I therefore set them to be the same as my other
cruiser (a '95 UK-spec FZJ80) and sure enough, the back was way too long
and needed to be shortened about 25mm. The front however was the same onboth cars - so no adjustment. Anyway, things were quite a bit better, but
still a noticable pull. I'm therefore wondering if the '92 cruiser has
shorter front panhard arms than the later ones (mine is June 92, pre the
1st major revision). If anyone has an early 80 and could give me ther front
panhard eye-centre to eye-centre distance, it would be a big help.
I'm in a but of a rush with it, as I'm emigrating in 3 weeks and need to
sell it! (nothing like advance planning huh?). The other option is that
one of you can buy it with slightly squiffy tracking for =A36500. Can't say
fairer
than that... :)
Cheers,
Andy Bell
