underpowered

Hi I have a 1993 4.2 hdj80 I use it all the time for towing but find it underpowered in the low revs, it is fine at about 1800rpm and above is there anything I could do ? for more power below that? many thanks

1, Stainless replacement large bore exhaust that either exits at the side before the wheel or otherwise removed the constriction in the exhaust over the back axle. And/or
2, intercooler and professional pump tweek or
3, pro pump tweek on its own

all you need to do is change the off boost fueling, there is a write up on the forum about this. i did mine afterwards it would pull great from 1000rpm.
