We've all seen the pictures of LCs conquering the world but what do you have in the way of unusual uses of your cruiser?

I'll start it off....
My new daughter in law wanted to go to the ceremony in my 40... don the ribbons and glitter but then the quandry do I lower the suspension or get a step?
Couldn't take them both to the reception as there's only one seat in the back and the tailgate is pretty high - hence the Jeep

Well it wasn't mine as such, but I did buy it and the alternator welder for my old employer, so here is an HZJ79 working as a mobile welder (worked superbly by the way):

Again not mine but part of many that I had the pleasure of buying. Not strictly unusual, but unusual enough in Europe! This was during our handover/training session and it was actually the x-ray tech we had strapped to the stretcher! So glad I persuaded my MD as that HZJ78 literally saved lives :p

Another one - using my HZJ105 company car with electric winch and a snatch block in a tree to lift off my roof tent and later mount it's replacement. Better than doddery old Ghanaian watchmen who were the only guys I could get to help in a downpour! Besides it was a good opportunity to get two sexy LCs together. God that 105 was a sweet vehicle... Nothing but a set of MTs and a TJM bar. Didn't even come with a stereo or sidesteps

Okay last one
My boss wanted to play golf and the mower was kaput (gearbox gone) so one of the mechanics got a bit creative with an axle from an HZJ75. I didn't last for long, just enough for the bas***d to get his game.

The HZJ75 was basically totalled and fully stripped - that was it's last good deed before we ran it over with a D8 to make it smaller and sold it for scrap :o
