I am new to the forum and am looking for some answers in regard to my 2008 v8 td ute, VDJ79.
1. Should the gearbox/transfercase chatter at low rpm in 1, 2, and 3 gear rolling/ no load? sounds similar to the early Nissan Patrols rattley transferbox chain.
2. Is there anywhere I can get a workshop manual/CD for it?
3. What oils should be run in the box/ transfercase and diffs?
4. What is the gearbox ID for this model?
Any info in regard to these would be grate thanks.
Fore thoes interested, I purchased the ute with 61k on the clock, x national parks, hasn't used any oil in 5 months, goes very well, exelent fuel econemy compaired to my old 1988 HJ75, have tinted the windows and fitted remote locking, gxl mags, UHF out of old ute, and old 75 series digital clock, appart from the chattering sound Its grate.
