Excuse my ignorance, but can I assume that the GRP/kevlar is one and the
same thing, and that all waffle boards are made of that material?
I expect we will be travelling solo on pistes for periods of time and as a
peace of mind item and despite the fact that people will appear out of
nowhere
to push, I will probably end up with waffle boards. If I can not source
the
right length, will cutting them to size effect the strength/integrity
of the
board?

The waffle boards can be cut to fit, you must seal the ends with
fibreglass sealant, two part stuff. You can cut them with a carbide
tipped power saw.
I bought a container load last year :)
If you want the engineering sheets drop me a line at [Email address removed]
I think shipping from Japan is not on for these so let's not even ask.
But the information is free. Alas it is all in inches and pounds.
Oh and the surface on the waffle boards is coated with a sealed grit
that will take the skin off your hand, so no worries on the slipping off.

Hi guys, lots of comments about this stuff.
I have the manufacturers spec sheet some place, if you want a copy drop
me a direct email, [Email address removed]
I do have some of this stuff in stock and would think that if I shipped
more than one or two at a time it might be competitive with the costs
over there. If you can work up a group and if your needs match my
inventory we can work something out.

Dave,
If there is an ELCO group purchase a set of OEM 16" steel split rims for an
FJ45 would be nice.
