I have been to a site in Wales which is run by a really knowledgeable ex-army guy.There is a very nice campsite about 6 miles from the off road site. Plus there are a lot of preetty green lanes to explore. The land rover club I went with go there twice a year. It is called Tuff Terrains near Llandrindod and is run by Bernie.There is tame stuff and frightening stuff and impossible stuff. Worth a look. www.tuffterrains.co.uk
