water leaking from under dash

Is it coming out of the heater, ie is it running down the passenger side transmission tunnel? Is it water or coolant?

The fresh air intake grill Nr the wiper arms, there is a drain in the bottom, could it be blocked.

no it seems to be coming down the pillow it is water

Do you mean the 'A' pillar, if so it could be the drain from the sun roof gutter (if you have sunroof) blocked, or leaking.
It is a commonish problem as the hose over the years gets a kink in it and forms a bottle neck.
Is you LC parked on a slight slope towards the passanger side?

Have you removed the roof rails? The bolts go straight through the roof so you need to bolt them back in and maybe dab some silicon around them.
Also, if the windscreen had been replaced by a previous owner maybe years ago, then the paintwork round the frame may have been damaged by the cheese wire they use to cut through the bonding and rust may may have began to form allowing water to get in. You can check whether the windscreen is original by checking the manufacturer marks on the glass.
