What a 60,000 psi waterjet cutter can do to your car bits.

I used to sell WJ cutters many moons ago! Mainly used in food (using veg oil or / and water) production but can cut stainless plate and all sorts - amazing really, much improved nowadays though.
 
That is pretty cool. Is there any abrasive in that or is it just water?


What is the drive for that? Piston compressor/reservoir or turbine/screw compressor?
 
Usually piston pumps for pressure washers Crispin.

My first thought was…why? If you want to find out how something works, why destroy it? There's two items there that could be remanufactured.

Pretty impressive cutter though.

Thought the same Rich, it would have been just as impressive cutting a piece of bar or slicing stone...
