What wheels?

So today I sold my older Touareg, and I’m going to have to pull my finger out this week and get the 80 through an mot, it’s almost ready, but I need to get a set of wheels, 2 questions,,,
1. I like the look of the deep dish modular steels, and was thinking of 315 tyres, I believe I will need 16” rims?
2. What is the biggest size of tyres to safely fit on the std alloys if I decide to use them
Oh I can’t count,
3. Anyone got anything for sale?

You can get 315s in 16" and 17" I have a set of both.

Only tip I'd give you is before you first use them, run a thin bead of sealant in the crevice between the rim and middle web. Water gets in there and starts the corrosion process. But Despite that most after market steels will rust. I think they're coated by the same people ARB use to coat their winch bumpers. If you get new ones, it's worth taking them to have them blasted and professionally coated.
