My first recollection is bumping my childhood head on the bumper of dad's SWB BJ40.
One of those green things with the white roof and skinny millitary tyres.
Early into my teens I inhabited the backseat of a LWB 40. Cold, Loud and hard on your backside. But the countryside kept rolling past the windows in this truck.
I remember an afternoon stop whilst lumberjacking at a second hand Toy dealer in the Belgian Ardennes. Dad commented that these newer vehicles didn't look as capable, we were looking at a 60 series I expect.
Fast forward a lot of years and I've owned and loved a 70 series and at the moment the 80 series.
