Where is the diesel pre-filter?

Looking to change the pre-filter on my 2005 HD-FTE. Can you advise whether it is in the large hole or smaller opening in the tank as per the picture and is accessible under the rear seats or requires a tank removal?

It's the big opening. The small one is only a vent. And the filter in the tank is only like a sieve, shaped like a bag. There is no pre-filter on the 1hd-fte.

Is the filter like this one from Rough Trax?

No. This looks like the pre-filter found on the 1hz version for sandy/dusty areas.
