Hi people,
We currently have only 1 key for our 1993 Land Cruiser 80, and I'm
having a hell of a time getting another few spare keys cut.
Most places don't seem to be able to cut this key, and a specialist
car key place up by Arsenal (A Buckenhams) cut me a key yesterday but
it doesn't work. They got all the details from their books about which
key number and all that, but it doesn't quite match up with my
existing key... it actually looks slightly thicker and the cut pattern
isn't quite the same. In the end it did fit in the lock barrel, but it
won't turn the lock. They have advised me to call a Toyota dealership
and try and get the exact key number and they can try again, but they
didn't sound very confident.
Anyone in London (or greater London even) know where else I can try
that they've had success with? Any advice?
Cheers,
Duncan.
