Bit difficult to judge the scale from that picture Carl, what size spanner fits the nut shown? I'm guessing 12mm or 13mm in which case it'll be an M8 thread.

thanks jon ... a 13mm spanner fits that one ...thread on the stud looks a fine thread .. ..

was just curious if it was a specific nut that went on the studs

Out of interest what part of the exhaust system is that a pic of ? Looks like a T piece. Not got that on my 1995.

It's a petrol Frank. It's where the lamber sensor goes. Or at least I think it is

Yes Karl ... it is a petrol ...and that is where that sensor goes (well it is on my 1996 1FZ-FE anyway)
