Sorry, likely a stupid question.

3 types of lug nuts for the 80 series. Two of them are the "acorn style".

The "acorn style" Toyota lug nut for the 80 series alloy wheel (90942-01081) vs the steel wheel (90942-01082) is at least twice as expensive. Are these interchangeable- can use 90942-01082 on the OEM alloy wheel? Cheers in advance!

I don't know about the 80 specifically but in general the lug nuts for steel wheels and alloys are different because of the seats. I would doubt they're interchangeable and it's not worth the risk

Hey - found this - presume its what you're referring to. The early ones do look broadly similar, but personally I wouldn't risk it. (Mine's on the later style in any case!).

Would torque values be different for different lug nuts? I know that torque value s would be different for steel vs Aluminum wheels.

These are aftermarket but heavy and solid with good finish - recommended if they'll ship to the South Atlantic
