Lubo,
They are the same as mine, same supplier etc. Mine are smoked and
not dark. Thinking about it I have had them since 2005. They are only
taped on but are still fixed securely.

I wouldn't say I was bald, just follically challenged and the small ones I
have do a great job of scalping me if I'm not careful on entering and
exiting! although I had the large ones on my previous cruiser and don't
remember any problems then, perhaps I've got taller over the years.

Hi Lubomir,
The small one is around 2-3 inches wide, the wider ones are 4-5 inches
wide - whilst they may provide better protection when driving with the
window they do restrict access for things like taking photos out of the
window, leaning out of the window at car parks to get tickets, etc.

As for size/style I think it depends on the climate in which you want
to use them. For my use I just wanted something to give me enough
fresh air to stop the windows misting during mountain showers in a
hot Balkans summer. (Cheaper than running the aircon). So the narrow
ones were just right. Mine, like Clive's are lightly smoked and stuck
on with a thin black double sided foam tape. The adhesion is amazing
and since 2001 they have never moved and survived hot summers and
cold mountain winters plus plenty of jet washes. I have heard similar
complaints to the point Julian made for the large version - but that
was from my fellow Pajero drivers ;o)
Cheers
