Warning: Ram chips have to match on voltage and speed as well. If the ram is rated for a higher speed than the clock of the system, it is also a problem.

Ram didn't fit .

Even if RAM physically fits it may not be compatible (wait states etc). If you want to upgrade check crucial's website - they can supply the exact stuff your old box will need (uk.crucial.com)
