Out of interest what are you going to be using the 80 series for - the
lift seems a little excessive if you are only going for 35" tyres.

Reply - : Well I want the lift kit primarilly to make the Landcruiser unique. Secondly I want as much ground clearance as possible for off road use - but The company maintains that the ride should not suffer too much. I know you have a 2.5" lift on your Truck which as you say is great with the bigger tyres. It's just a package that was offered to me by this company and as far as i can find out it's the biggest that can be done to a Landcruiser 80 series.(tyres may be bigger than 35's)
I want to also get a Snorkel, winch bumper and expedition rack fitted from frogs island but still waiting for a catalogue from them - requested over a week ago.
I guess with only having the petrol engine i definatly do not want to get the engine too wet (know diesels are much better for the wet stuff)
As i say the main reason is to make the Landcruiser stand out and be unique. Having only ever had Landrovers, Suzuki sj's and Delica's for off road use before wanted to go as big as possible as the landcruiser seems lower to start with.
What do you think? Do you think it's the wrong move?
Phil
