Hi Guys
I brought the ---- to my guy and he is not interested in fitting it because
he says that it is too tight in the rear pillar to work. I am not giving up
because I priced the shipping back to the UK and it would cost me 80 euro
and then I would be down money and have nothing to show for it. So I reakon
ill get it fitted somewhere for that, after all all it needs is a guy to fit
the supports and all is well.

Hi John,
Have you tried contacting Dave Harris ([Email address removed]) who
has a complete unit (including brackets) lying in his garage?
If he could take some detailed digital photos of the bracket, it should
help you on your way. There may even be some part numbers on them.
Also, I would be inclined to go back to direct4x4 and see if they can
source the brackets.
Failing all that, as a very last resort I would consider getting heavy
handed with direct4x4 since the carrier is evidently not fit to be used
as it is - you may have some recourse to get them to take it back and
provide a full refund including the cost of carriage. You could use
their local Trading Standards officer as leverage.
As an aside for you and the others, Kaymar actually produce a wheel
carrier kit that bolts into the existing bumper structure (see
http://tinyurl.com/dl349 ). I' not sure who will supply it in the UK,
perhaps an email to Kaymar themselves will reveal a local dealer.
