New engine mounts required

My newly aquired on 9 November, approved used LC4 auto is in the garage for the heated seat.

Just had a call to say it needs new engine mounts. It's only done 58K.
Is this a symptom of it having had a very hard life?

It judders when you come to a stop with your foot on the brake.

It will be off the road for 2 days they tell me.

Not very happy, this should have been picked up at the dealers before delivery.

That's not the best...

I suspect that Mr T put in special engine mounts on the 120 to make it feel all comfy - they run, I believe, off the same vacuum system that governs the EGR stuff. So not inconceivable that they've gone potty - not as though they're all hard rubber like normal.

Although I'd associate the shudder at stop with warped discs on the brakes?

I'd insist that the dealer pay for whatever's required.
