I went to a garage/moving/clearout sale today and bought this:-

There isn't any documentation but I thought it was an ok size for running air tools from but not expecting too much from it. Is this a good make?
I bought a few more bits, Rivnut set, puller set, 75 litres of synthetic, power tools etc, etc, good job I took the van.
Anyway its more about the compressor.

Andy

Just bought one of these myself, don't plug it into an extension lead though and make sure you drain the water out after each use.

I agree it looks like mine which is a 50L

Looks tidy Andy  Is there now't stamped on the plate regarding capacity?

I use to make them tanks many moons ago!! Yes a 50l one. Pump looks like a small one. I would guess about 6-8 CFM free air.

To add the tank should have a plate on it say when it was made and what it holds. The pump/motor should have another plate saying the HP and CFM. The silver sticker in the pic might be it.

DO NOT USE PVC OR CPVC PIPE for this application. Use ONLY plastic piping approved for compressed air usage or else the old standby of copper or steel. Connect the compressor to the piping system with a short length of large diameter air hose for vibration absorption.
