Hi there from Warragul in Australia
I have a 2002 5 speed manual UZJ100R petrol V8. It's done 300k and purrs like it was new. It's such a good car but at 22yo a few things are playing up and one has got me tossed. The 10amp fuse for the backup lights was blowing intermittently but now blows as soon as reverse is selected. Apart from no reverse light it takes out the speedo and the odometer and as a result the cruise control stops. I've checked and double checked where I can and I now think it's the reverse switch on the gearbox. But where is it and can I change it? I see the switch advertised but I can't work out exactly where it's located. I wonder if anyone could provide some asistance- it would be most appreciated.
