As some of you know, I have been pursuing a certain Nissan Patrol over the last few months which belonged to a friend of mine who unfortunately passed away following a motorcycle accident. Anyway this process has been long, drawn out and complicated due to probate, setting up trusts and family politics.
However I got to view it yesterday having been informed it was to be sold by a sealed bid process and the person I was bidding against was his eldest brother who came in at the last second showing interest to buy it also.
It's a 4.2 diesel model with taller springs and a small body lift. No MOT or tax 37" tyres and a winch.
To compound matters the guy I was dealing with ( the middle brother) had not told me his elder brother was going to be there with his mother also, talk about awkward!
Anyway this is the truck, it started and ran very well and the only remedial work I could see was a small hole at the rear of each sill needed a small plate. :-

I had no idea what to bid on it, especially as I was bidding against his brother.
Anyone care to suggest what I should have bid or what anyone thinks it is worth.
Andy
