After years of searching I have finally got co pilot who wants to get behind the wheel of a Cruiser off road.

Is this a good thing?

Andy

I'd say yes, cute (dare I say that ) and cautious. Two valuable assets in my book!

Good looking 80 Andy, is that from your stable?

Assuming that's the girlfriend then yes absolutely its a good thing because now you have an excuse to buy a toy specifically for crashing into trees and stuff , you can always trailer her truck home with the 80

Yes Clive, its Chris's off roader. I've put the wheels off the Trol ( 37x14.5x16) for a change, they worked better today at the site as the ruts were fairly narrow and they gripped the sides well. Each time I take Maria off roading she wants to drive more, so it turns into a good day out.:icon-biggrin:

Mine's the same, she's nagging me to get our 4Runner put back together as it needs the exhaust fitting and then we're just about good to go (I really need August's pay...) out again. The only issue we have was the Land Cruiser was too tall for her to do any work on the engine, and the 4Runner isn't that much better in some respects, although it's not sitting as high as the 4Runner was.

She drives pretty well as well, much better in the snow than I am, and is pretty handy offroad as well when she decides she wants to drive. She did parts of the Old Mill Road in the Watagan's, She's in the 'Cruiser, and I'm on photo duty:

I thought I recognized it but with the number smudged, I didn't want to say anything (Chris was typically and teasingly secretive about who he'd sold it to ).

It looks soooo great with those wheels and tyres on it:dance:

My my missus won't even drive my 80 on the road, let alone offroad, so I'm somewhat envious :icon-rolleyes:.

Looks like Padley Woods Andy. Sorry I couldn't be there.

Whats " Thunderbird 1" mean Chris ? everyone was saying " Thunderbird 1 has arrived"
It was Padley Chris, we had a great day.

It's International Rescue Andy. Who do you think pulls everyone out of the mud?
