Tidy 80 GS

Outwardly that looks like a damn decent 80. I love the fact that they put 'no time wasters please' If I were a time waster that would certainly put me off.

It looks tidy - But my only comment is if they have lost the immobilizer, how have they managed to move it into different positions for the photos. B

My guess is that these are the photos he took when he got it and it doesn't quite look like that now, just a guess.

You can easily hot wire to start one of these. So I expect that was what they did to get the photos done.

Maybe the engine is scrap and he 'conveniently' lost the fob?

Plus If you google the postcode, he's in the middle of the ghetto anyway. :tongueclosed:

Yeah... I wouldn't touch that one. I had a nightmare with the immobiliser on mine. Plus, never been moved in two year? What if it was parked up after being driven all winter and then never had the salt washed off.

That would line up with him saying of the road....
However, maybe a 'cherished' number plate transfer at time of ownership change lost history in the mot database ?

Edit: having said the above, I just checked mine and it does have the entire history online even though it's been run under f different plates....

Ive just been to view this, its pretty rough and looks nothing like it does in the pics.

Plus he's liying about the keys too he clearly bought it without keys. Here's a pic from off google maps last year its written on the glass no keys lol

Its in the same spot now but looks worse.

Well it only takes a viewing by someone who knows what they are talking about to get to the bottom of if its good or not,
Well done that man!!

Possibly the photos he used were off the previous advert.

Cheers pal,

Who ever buys this on ebay is going to be pretty disappointed when they come to pick it up.
Rot coming round the windscreen, tyres are shot, brakes shot, big dent in bonnet. That's just a start.
Looks like a breaker to me but could tidy up if you want to spend the cash.

I still can't work out where he's got the pictures on the advert from. They must be years old.

Oh and I was right about one thing, it's smack bang in the middle of ghetto Birmingham. :tearsofjoy:

Just goes to show, the older they get the harder it will be to get good ones, and finding them will be an even bigger challenge. Someone put on here I would regret selling the "flagship 80" A1ALL when I did, the longer it goes on, the more those words haunt me.

Now this really was as good as it looked.

I wonder how its getting on now?

Clearly, its doing well. Maybe down to the good start it had!

Having done 304k miles, and largely looking at mot history its with someone who's keeping up with things.

Just browsing and Clearly neither the google photo nor the ebay photos are Ludlow Road, Birmingham, the seller's business address :laughing-rolling:

Markman House is one of these...

Thats my 100 series KB, and its in Km which I bought with the proceeds of the sale. the last MOT my old 80 had 157k on it so in 2 years the new owner has done 8K miles.
