You just missed the forum courier service by two days.

BP garage in Aberdeen this morning. £1.39 for diesel and £1.46 for petrol. Very confusing.

Costco in Sheffield is down to a reasonable £1.39 now. The second cheapest is a popular local garage. The supermarkets are at least 15p dearer. BP and Shell are posting bumper profits.

It's listed all over the place but things seem very quiet. Funnily enough I've had a few genuine enquiries this morning.

To be honest this sale is starting to do my head in. Even Steve appears semi-coherent compared to some of the jokers out there. The latest one communicated entirely in Urdu. Very few serious enquiries.

Willing to let this go for a very low price if anyone is interested.

I've not heard anyone talking about going this year. Hopefully it will be a wakeup call for the organisers and a return to a thriving grassroots 4x4 gathering with open camping fields, sensible admission fees, useful stalls and interesting demos and displays and a range of quality food and drink...

Thanks Dan. I did call West Coast about that kit but they said they wouldn't fit it on site. I've found a chap now locally who will have a look at the box next week so hopefully that will be that.

My 75 series had power steering retrofitted by the previous owner. The details are vague but the steering box is from an Australian 76 series and has apparently had the shaft machined because it was rusty. It is also leaking quite badly. Hopefully this can be rebuilt and sorted with new seals...

What are you hoping to get hold of?

We went with Brentacre to get the imported HZJ75 insured and they were good so the HDJ100 went on there too. USP is they pick up the phone straight away and were very easy to deal with.
