Truck is parked on an incline. It has new Ironman suspension in (foam cell) with a 200 kg constant load rating, as I have drawers in the back packed with camping gear and tools and spares.
No saggy bum, here.
I would agree with your suggestion of 2x1.4m roof tents and the use of your awning. You can have a look at getting the sides for the awning and that would create plenty of space.
Paulpen, fuel consumption is about the same in the diesels. What drew me to the 100 was space, power (towing a 1 ton camping trailer as if there is nothing there) and visibility. The seven seats are very spacious and you don't feel cramped. The hundie is also much quieter cruising, which I like...
I have upgraded my bulbs to the 120% brighter ones, got a light bar, and got it wired to my main beam, and problem solved. All in all, costs were around £150.00.
Having driven virtually every model of Toyota 4x4 since the 1980's, and having owned in the U.K., a 3.0lt Surf, and 80 Series, a 120 D4D and now a 100 series, I have to say the 100 series, probably fits your shopping bill more accurately. I have absolutely no problems with mine and if you like...
I didn't fare much better recently. The vehicle went in for a recall, and at the same time gets the aircon regassed. Just got home from picking the vehicle up, when the phone rings, it's the garage. Turns out that their gassing machine was faulty, and the vehicle has to come back.

Evening All,
Does anyone know where I can get hold of a full set of wheel arch flares for my 2003 Amazon?
I have posted this in the wanted section as well but no joy.
Afternoon Nathan,
Below is a link to where I got mine from. Have a look and see, as I am not sure.

Evening All,
Does anyone know, where I can get hold of a complete silicone hose kit? I have trawled everywhere but have found nothing for the 24 Valve 4.2 TDI, 2003 model.
The Beast is booked in on Monday. They will be replacing the airbag ecu, and at the same time service my aircon for £59.00, from Toyota! Very reasonable.
How many of you took your 100's in?
I will also enquire about the sat nav update to the latest version and let you guys know how much it costs.
Evening all,
could anybody tell me wher I can get hold of the clip on/in gutter strip? I got a roof rack fitted and need these to finish off the gutter.
Can't wait to pick up my "new" cruiser! New wheels, new tyres, Ironman Protector Bar (come on BMW's, and cut me off again!), winch, light bar, snorkel, roof rack, and new Ironman suspension, EGR removed.
