6x4 Land Cruiser

Interesting article. IIRC it was Wolfrace Wheels that had a Range Rover fitted with a second rear axle, but again IIRC it was not driven, but still turned heads.

Cool truck. As Dave 2000 says, though, more commonly done with Range Rovers. About 10 years ago I went round Morocco with a guy from Guernsey who had a proper 6x6 RR - two rear propshafts. The story was it was originally made for a wealthy guy from the gulf states and was built with an open trayback with a big leather armchair on it which he used for hunting with his falcons. Eventually it returned to the UK and was converted to a really great camping truck with a pop-top. It was good off-road, the only problem being hairpin bends on mountain tracks. A shunt or two needed.
