Gday all, new to the forum.
I’m having issues with my 79 series not starting.
Has had starter, alternator and battery replaced 3 weeks ago.
Returning from a particularly dusty day trip, car started fine on and off throughout the day, but now won’t turn over at all, total silence.
Have had all these warning lights come on at once on return to town.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
(Please excuse grubby dash)

What’s the voltage on the battery now it will not start, if it’s low around or below 11 volts then sounds like you may have a parasitic drain on the battery.
Also check the voltage should be above 14 bolts when the cars running to make sure the alternator is working.

Thanks mate, I’ve forgot my multimeter unfortunately.
Gave the air filter a clean as it was super dusty, but didn’t look that bad.
I tried starting it now that the day has cooled down substantially and it fired up like brand new. I guess I’m wondering if there’s any electrics that are affected by high outside temps.

Could be an immobiliser fault by the sounds, not sure what model you have and even if it has an alarm or immobiliser.

I did also think that might be the problem.
No alarm, but the immobiliser is fairly new, I’ll get it checked.
Cheers mate.
