80 series long range tank

As the heading states. Long range tank for an 80 series Landcruiser.
I Have a mate who has brought a couple of these over from abroad and hopefully is getting a couple more. These aren't a cheap tank. Genuine OEM parts but used/second hand.
I will add what will be inc in this kit soon.
This tank sit between the spare wheel carrier and the boot floor.

I will post a thread when I come to fit mine, just got other stuff to do first. Put the tank up there by hand though just to see and it's a perfect fit as you'd expect. These are 13 gallon tanks. All the pipework bought here in the UK is extremely expensive. Be interesting to see what the whole kit comes in at Karl. There are still a couple of pipes needed for this and the straps to hold the tank in place which I am picking up tomorrow. You also need the change over solenoids for pick up and return. But you could do something a bit simpler I guess.

It's equivalent to 3 Jerry cans basically. At no cost to space on the vehicle.

You could also get a genuine aux tank gauge.

All 80's got them here so fairly common, especially as their are so many 80's still on the road here, their everywhere!

Ben, I plan to simply wire the sender into the original gauge so that it changes over with everything else. I'd like a sub tank gauge of course! But even more I'd like the sub tank dash switch matey
