80 series rear bumper

Hi to all haven't posted for a while, but I have been going through old threads on the above subject, (due to a little accident and crushed the drivers side rear quarter oops) anyway can't seem to find much on it.

has any one built a rear offroad bumper for the 80 or know we're to buy one, also mine is currently welded on, was that a standard practice rather than bolt on?

i'll hopefully be looking for a rear steel bumper/winch soon
don't know how available they all are in the UK tho'

i'm after a rear-wheel carrier as well
i like the one made by <specialist engineering.com> in Poland i think
Clive's running an ARB rear steel bumper,looks good

anyone else on here got a rear steel bumper?

Frogs island do a nice one for around £300 I think. If you get one lend it me for a week or so so I can get myself one made.... Pretty please

The 80 doesn't have a rear bumper as such. The black centre part is actually the rear end of the Chasie then you just have the alloy top part and the two bumper corners.

Rear are bumper from AFN, good bit of kit for half the price of the ARB and the quality is superb

I previously emailed AFN when looking at rear bar options.
Was told there is no alterations to arms available, sold as seen in the picture.
'Official Launch' is January and cost is around 907€ and is suitable for 35" tyre.

I also emailed Specialist Engineering about their rear bar.
Seems they are fabricating a new version but seem busy with other projects so no idea when it will be ready.

Thx Karl I will have a look at that so are you saying you just replace the left and right coroners?
I was thinking of cutting the middle section out and then mounting something in place of it all.

there were originally rubber cappings on the top of the sides, hard to refit after the refurb, and still on the bench.



Swing outs are are optional handed, or both



The capping would normally cover these clamp bolts... But WTF, it's not meant to be pretty
