80 winch build standard bumper

well i bought jw's 12k winch so thought i would post some pics of me trying to make it fit under the standard bumper

as you can see there isn't much room with the intercooler so had to rotate the freespool lever and move the solenoid box.

next will be to trim the tray down an cut the bumper.

Its getting there slowly lol just bought my first house so have been sorting that out but i do have some more pics, the winch tray is done. all that is left is to wire it in and find a way to operate the freespool lever.

The winch looks awesome! Liking the idea that the winch is concealed nicely behind the bumper and hardley visible to wandering eyes. N1

That's a very nice job you have done , fitting it behind the bumper. One more thing you need to do is to hide that red wire that is very obvious.

What size winch is that? And, does the rating stay the same mounted that way verses mounting into and ARB or something else?
