I managed to bend the tailgate [unloading a very heavy Irish woodburner] Not hugely bent and it still closes but the rear hatch now doesn't close properly. As a result the interior lights in the back doors stay on - no problem, disconnect them. Then alarm wont set so lock on key, next morning battery dead flat - battery was getting on a bit so that's knackered.

After that ramble a simple question - where the hell is the interior light switch? I've looked everywhere, it' obviously operated by the hatch not the tailgate - is it built into the catch?

Many thanks in advance,

The switch is, indeed, operated by the catch. Take the interior trim cover off the hatch and you should see it.

I found this when the alarm kept going off, I had not shut the hatch properly, a little breeze and off she went!
