When did the d4d start to be fitted?
What size tyres does a standard 90 have fitted?
Other than the usal stuff, what is there to look out for on a 90?

The reason I am asking, I might be going to look at one next weekend.

Paul

not sure on the lump nut i think i have seen 2001 somewhere

tyres are 265 70 16's

Yes 2001 and 265 70 16
only the radiator issue if going auto
Issue's ive had with mine
leaky water pump = took about 2/3 hours to do
Leaky transfer output seal again fairly easy to do

and check for any signs of overheating/cracked head if you find one with the kzt lump.

make sure rear locker actuator still works and isnt corroded, £400 fix

From my experience the 90 is fairly bulletproof - D4D unit is quick too,

In the 90,000 miles I have put on mine it has had a new clutch (@130k wear and tear) a steering rod end, a rear shock, and a starter motor recon. As far as I can see thats all its had in its entire 160,000 miles so far. Thats what regular maintenance is worth!

Service history would be very desireable - Best of luck with the shopping!
