A late summer bbq meeting ?

Toying with the idea of attending this one to showcase the Gullwing doors but I'm not set up for camping, though, I may be able to borrow a roof tent. [emoji6]

Ive been doing it years and I'm still not set up for it. Usually I forget a list of things. The last trip I forgot the roof tent ladder and the pillows :-/

Now you see, there's the other thing, Lynn often gets up in the night a wandering for the bathroom and let's just say ladders are not her favourite past the second step. There could be a muffled thud followed by a squeal in the night! [emoji53]

I had that with holly mate.
She wasn't happy going to the toilet in the night. I had to get out unlock the truck,open the sliding window for her to climb down. It all just adds to the adventure mate

I'll be judging the "my favorite 4x4 club social" competition. Extra points can be gained for imaginitive BBQ recipies, quality of team breakfast, bar stock levels, size of campfire, quality and originality of banter

N44 set the bar pretty high at Billing, we're talking free BBQ with a real live chef, organic bacon butties in the morning, a number of bottles of obscure foriegn spirits being passed around an enormous campfire, the biggest bottles of Speckled Hen you've ever seen, and the banter volume at 11

I'll be having words with the guy who gave you the free ticket Pumpy. He hasn't given me one and my number is on his friends and family list and he has had heaps of support and business management from myself free of charge.....

Free is a relative term Karl, in this case it involves signing myself into servitude for at least 10 hours driving

Just dont let yourself downgrade to driving a sxxt Landrover. I'll get my recover trailer ready just incase. Actually that may be a better idea. You could take them on a trailer. Prob be the safest option all round.
