A little trip to Suzhou - 30km outside Shanghai

While down in Shanghai, we decided to take a couple of tours.
The first one we decided upon, is a 2 day tour in Suzhou.
This is day 1.
Suzhou is one of the oldest towns in the Yangtze Basin, some 2500 years old.
Suzhou is a UNESCO world heritage site water village.

The parks and gardens are very beautiful, with many pagoda's and lakes.

As usual this time of the year, many of the trees are in full bloom, with Apple blossom, Cherry blossom, and many more.
