Just to update; everything related to the clock spring swap still works perfectly - result at sensible money!
Now, anyone want to buy a KZJ95?
Long story... Nothing wrong with the Collie at all. We've owned it since 2003, it's been brilliant & has not long been MOT'd (new front calipers, discs AND steering rack!) & is possibly the closest one out there as a 'baselined' vehicle (the list of service & maintenance stuff is huge) and it's almost completely rust-free!
but
I'm looking for something much older & with double the number of cylinders which can tow well - ideally an 80's Quad-cab Dodge or Chevy 1 ton pickup...
I need to get some pics sorted & post an advert.
